For their summer SERVE Week, Factory Church blessed each resident in a local government housing neighborhood with a porch refresh. Church members signed up to sponsor a Porch Kit which included a new chair, door mat, potted plant, and door wreath. Their goal with this serve is “to bring new life and joy to a community that means so much to our church!!”

For SERVE Day, the East Valley Dream Center is hosting a Back to School Event. During the event they'll be blessing students and their families with "Breakfast Bags" filled with mini muffins, cereal, oatmeal, pop tarts, pancakes, syrup, and bottled water as a way to help them start their first week of school of strong!

A team from Greenwood Baptist Church in Weatherford TX hosted a Starbucks Kindness Hour - surprising customers by paying for their coffee at the register.

“Manna Church provided linen sets for 250 redeploying paratroopers returning from Eastern Europe. This SERVE team, ...coordinated with the 82nd Public Affairs Officer and the unit leadership in providing the linen sets, along with welcome bags containing snacks, beverages, and hygiene items. We love SERVING those who serve!”

A team from Lifepoint Church woke up early one morning and headed to their local beach to do a "Beach Sweep" clean up and serve breakfast to the lifeguards on duty.

With gas prices on the rise @thejustpeopleproject voted to buy a lot of gas cards just to help out a little. Meet Alvin... It was a little awkward telling him to hold up before he put his card in but so worth it…So thankful for people who donate to where we can see these smiles!

New parents with a child in the NICU can feel scared, alone, and not sure about the future. Receiving a gift from someone who cares and is praying for them can be very uplifting. Gather some volunteers together at your church or at a central location to make special gift bags for these new parents (make a few gift bags for a one time delivery, or use an event like SERVEday to make a stock pile of gift bags for ongoing deliveries). After the bags are assembled, send a couple of people to visit the hospital(s) delivering the gifts and encouraging families.

Purpose Church in LA hosted a Cook Out for men and women in sober living in their community. The heart of the event was to remind people that they are not alone in their recovery journey and that there is a church family who loves them! The day included free food, music, games, and fun!

Vibrant Church hosted a special gathering to honor local foster parents in their community to relax and connect with one another. “Today we honored those who consistently answer the call to foster parents. They give of themselves, their homes, and their hearts, and we pray that today was a blessing and an encouragement to all 142 parents.”

The Berkshire Dream Center just celebrated the Grand Opening of their Bright Morningside Kitchen! This restaurant-style soup kitchen is completely free and open to the public. It's a place where neighbors can enjoy gathering together and dining in dignity! The experience includes free multi-course meals, live music, and the beauty of true community!
